Foot Foot Shovels Snow

A long, long, time ago, in a far, far, away place, there lived a little boy named Foot Foot.

Foot Foot was a very, very, good little boy, except for one very small thing. Sometimes, just now and then actually, really hardly ever, Foot Foot liked to shovel snow.

One very cold day in February, Foot Foot woke up, looked out his window, and yelled, at the tip-top of his voice, “Snow! Yea!”

And off he went to shovel snow.

First, Foot Foot found the largest shovel in his garage and started clearing his driveway. He worked, and worked, and worked, until he was hot, tired, and exhausted, which took about three minutes. Then he sat down on his shovel and thought to himself, “there has to be an easier way to do this.”

After thinking about the problem until it got dark outside and light again the next morning, Foot Foot realized that there was a simple answer to his dilemma. All that he had to do was attach his shovel to the front of his bicycle, which he did using a whole bunch of string.

And off he went to shovel snow again. After about 30 seconds, Foot Foot found out that his bicycle did not have snow tires. He made this discovery when the bike slipped and Foot Foot went flying off and crashed into the garage door, making a Foot Foot sized hole in the garage door.

Foot Foot sat down and thought again. He thought and he thought and he thought until he realized that the best solution would be not to shovel at all, but to melt the snow with lots and lots of water.

So Foot Foot threw his shovel and bicycle onto the roof of his house to get them out of the way, took out the garden hose and soaked all of the snow on his driveway. Unfortunately, Foot Foot had been sick and missed school the day that they explained about how water turns into ice, and soon Foot Foot found out that instead of snow, he had a skating rink on his driveway.

Foot Foot was enjoying skating on this new rink until his father came home and tried to drive into the garage and got his car stuck in the snow and ice.

First, Foot Foot yelled, “You ruined my skating rink!”

Then his father screamed, “You ruined my garage door and driveway.”

Then Foot Foot said, “Can you get my bicycle and shovel off of the roof?”

And his father said, “You are an exceeding poorly behaved child. Go to your room now, and stay there for 13 years and 4 days.”

And that is the end of the story.
